Сборка Emacs 23 с XFT
Категория: Інфармацыйныя тэхналогіі Апрель 14th, 2008Собрал emacs 23 из cvs’а с поддержкой XFT. Наконец-то шрифт теперь не такой гадкий как ранее.
Сейчас приведу краткую инструкцию по сборке и настройке (в первую очередь для себя):
% cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.savannah.gnu.org:/sources/emacs co emacs
% cd emacs; ./configure –with-x-toolkit –enable-font-backend –with-xft –prefix=/usr/opt/emacs
% make bootstrap && gmake install
В ~/.Xdefaults должно быть приблизительно следующее:
Emacs.FontBackend: xft
Emacs*font:-*-lucida sans typewriter-*-*-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-iso10646-1
Запускаем:
%/usr/opt/emacs/bin/emacs

1) ветка emacs-unicode-2 уже давно замержена со стандартной
2) можно прямо в .emacs написать что-нибудь вроде:
(when window-system
(set-default-font «DejaVu Sans Mono-8″))
